Here are some product reviews from a few of our visitors:
- The Garmin 300c I purchased was chosen to use when I am in my kayak. It is small and doesn't take up a lot of room. Don't let the small comment stop you from buying this though. It accurately tells me how deep the fish are making it easy to hook my victims. Another excellent feature is this unit has been submerged by me and my antics on several occassions and it has never given me a blink of trouble. I rate this model 5 stars.
- I was hesitant to buy this model because it only has a 3.5" screen but the price was within my budget and Garmin came highly recomended. After purchasing this and using it a few times I am very, very satisfied. I can see the bright screen even in direct sunlight. Every function works exactly as it should. I do not have any bugs or complaints. I accidentaly left it on one night and my battery on my boat wasn't dead in the morning. Woohoo! I intend to buy this same unit for my other fishing boat this spring.
- I found an even better use for the Garmin Fishfinder. I set the alarm to go off at ten feet so I don't run my boat aground and bust another prop. This thing has saved my bacon a few times. Well worth the price.
- My Garmin 300c I bought from Amazon for the best prices anywhere.

Pros: It is waterproof, easy to use and I can see the contours of the lake bottom clearly.
Cons: I had to purchase a protetive cover separately and I also had to purchase the Garmin Speed Sensor. If I had known this I would have bought all together and not had to pay extra shipping.
